The weather is certainly being kind to us this week as the sun is shining and the boys are full of energy.
We welcome our four Practicum students this term. It is always good to be able to share the craft of teaching with those training and I think they are very lucky to be under the tutelage of our excellent staff.
By now you will have received your son’s Semester One report, covering the first half of the School Year. Parent/Teacher interviews will be held at the end of this term. However, I would encourage any parent who would like to discuss their son’s Semester One Report, to contact the class teacher and make an appointment.

We are so excited to begin proper full rehearsals for our Peter Pan Performance next term.
We have really gone above and beyond this year and put in a huge amount of effort into everything from the performance, the dances, the singing, the props and much much more. We hope that boys put in just as much effort when it comes to creating their costumes!
Attached is a spreadsheet indicating exactly what your son/s will need to wear for the concert. Boys with a main speaking role will receive an email later this week detailing costume requirements.
Feel free to email me if you have any further questions.

Last weekend Jack Brandtman and Lachlan Doble played in a rugby tournament representing the Randwick District at the NSW U11 Rugby State Championships, held at Tuggerah.
The weekend saw the boys playing in six very competitive games enjoying a couple of hard fought wins mixed with some close losses. The boys acquitted themselves very well playing against some of the top players from across the State. At the end of the weekend the Randwick coaches commended both boys on their excellent efforts and awarded Lachie the team game ball for his contributions across the weekend."
We are looking for someone to help us tidy and sort out our Art Cupboard which is in a bit of a mess. Any help would be much appreciated.
Service adjustments from Sunday 28 July
To improve reliability and meet customer demand, timetable adjustments will occur on many bus routes from Sunday 28 July. There are also changes to the timetables of many school services.
Trip planning and further information
Parents and students are encouraged to plan their trip to see if these timetable changes will impact the way that they currently travel to and from school. More information, including timetables, maps, Trip Planning and school service details is available at transportnsw.info . You can also view school service information on the Transit Systems website –transitsystems.com.au .
Student Opal Card Reminder
Please ensure your students are aware of the condition of use of their Opal Card, and the importance of carrying and using their card whenever they travel.
It is a condition of travel that all students tap on with their Student Opal card every time they board the bus, and tap off when they alight. This allows Transport for NSW and bus operators to assess the patronage of bus services, including School Special buses, to ensure that resources are used efficiently and meet customer demand.
