Broken Hill North Public School

School Bulletin No. 19 2020

From the Principal

On Friday we said goodbye to Beau and Faith Adams and wished them well in their new adventure. With Beau being one of our school captains, he handed over the reins to Jace Sammut while Belle Mullins back filled his vice captaincy. Onwards and upwards for our SRC!

Our attendance was funny this week as there were no classes achieving our target of 91% yet our weekly rate improved by 5%. I set the school a challenge given we have two weeks left of school. Any class that can achieve 4 days of 100% attendance in the last 10 days I will cook them a BBQ lunch. I’m confident at least one of our classes will nail the challenge. Fingers crossed.

Nothing much has changed in the COVID-19 world re the department guidelines which has enabled a new sort of routine to be put in place. Thank you so much for honouring the social distancing guidelines by keeping outside the school’s perimeter in the afternoons. Hopefully, this will change in Term 3 and we can get back to our parent family being back in the school.
