The Adventure Play Space or (Ninja course as the kids like to refer it as) is up and running. Last assembly we were able to gather a few P & C members and the Focus group members for the official opening. The children have thoroughly enjoyed challenging themselves on the various pieces of equipment. Massive thanks to our P & C and parents who continue to contribute to the amazing learning spaces; we are most grateful.
What an awesome Cross Country we had on Wednesday! The students had a great time and enjoyed just being out running and having fun as a team. We need to congratulate our amazing sports team/leaders who demonstrated kindness, generosity and sportsmanship on the day. Their positive presence and support to get some children across the line demonstrates the values we encourage at CPS. And of course a huge thank you to Mr Marshall for organising this event and for his expert bike riding and comic commentary on the day.
CPS was a sea of PJs, slippers and dressing gowns yesterday! Congratulations to our Student Councillors who organised the day as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. They raised an amazing $609.75. Thanks to Mr O’Mara for supporting the Councillors with this event and for developing their leadership skills.
Don’t forget!! Enrolments for Kindergarten and Pre-Primary are now open!! Please remember to get your enrolments submitted by 24 July. We would appreciate it if you could spread the word to any new families in our community who have first time Kindy children to enrol.
There has been in increase in children coming to school with flu like symptoms. We encourage all parents to please keep your child home if they are unwell. We continue to educate the children about good hygiene; wash/disinfect their hands, cough into their sleeve and avoid touching their face.
