We are blessed to welcome new students and their families in Reception, Year 1, Year 3, Year 5 & Year 6.

I am sitting with the term 1 calendar in front of me and so excited about the learning and experiences that lay ahead this term - Water Safety / Aquatics Program (Sailing, Surfing, Swimming, Surf Life-Saving) Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Lent, Class Masses, NAPLAN for Yr 3 & 5, Excursions, Gymnastics Program, Catholic Schools Swimming Carnival, School Disco & Caritas Carnival.

So far this term we have gathered as a school in the Parish Hall - where it all started 93 years ago, celebrated our Opening Year Mass, begun Mentoring Moments, explored Safer Internet Day, commemorated the Anniversary of the Apology to the Stolen Generation, Auskick program starting, launched Premier's Reading Challenge, Yr 5's undertake their sailing program, School Volleyball team and T-Ball get underway.

This year after exploring student data, surveys and general feedback Teachers will be undertaking professional learning and exploring:

  • How to support our students to be assessment capable
  • Introduction of new Australian Curriculum
