Our FODE students and Elementary Teachers from across Lihir continue to work on their distance education with the support of our STMC Staff. As per the Flexible Open Distance Education Calendar, these students completed formal lessons for the year on Wednesday 30 November and will recommence January 30, 2023. While these students will continue to work on their studies over the Christmas break, we wish them a safe and happy break.

In the coming weeks, the PNG Grade 12 results and university offers will be presented, at this time we will be working with our Lihir International School Academic Support Program, Grade 12 leavers and the Learning and Talent Team to assist suitable candidates into the Newcrest Tertiary Scholarship Program.

Over the coming weeks our STMC staff will continue to finalise new enrolments for many of our programs for next year including our Lihir International School Scholarship Program; our FODE Program and our Academic Support Program.
