Tell Them From Me
Our school will be participating in the Partners in Learning parent survey, another part of the Tell Them From Me suite of surveys (student, teacher and parent surveys) on student engagement. The survey asks parents and carers questions about different factors that are known to impact on student wellbeing and engagement.
Running this survey will help our school understand parents’ and carers’ perspectives on their child’s experience at school. These include: communication between parents/carers and staff, activities and practices at home and parent/carer views on the school's support of learning and behaviour. This valuable feedback will help our school make practical improvements.
The survey is conducted entirely online on smartphones, iPads, tablets, laptops or computers. The survey will typically take 15 minutes or less to complete and is completely confidential. The parent survey will be conducted over Term 3 and early Term 4. Although participating in the survey is entirely voluntary, your responses are very much appreciated.
Information about the survey is available at: education.nsw.gov.au/ttfm. To access the survey for our school go to: http://nsw.tellthemfromme.com/rkpxy
The survey is available in 23 languages.
Lost Property
We have accumulated many items in our lost property. We ask any parents, who would like to check for their child’s lost property, to come into school, at 3.15 tomorrow Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st September. Please remember to report through the school office on arrival.
Holidays
It is hard to believe but we are into our final week of Term 3 for 2022! This Friday 23rd September we will be recognising our student achievements at the Celebration Assembly. Family members have been invited to come along to help celebrate with us. Swansea High School Captains will be speaking at the assembly and sharing some important messages with our students.
Friday 23rd is the final school day for Term 3, with students returning Monday 10th October. I wish everyone a safe and happy break and will look forward to a busy but productive Term 4!
