Sports Day
I have heard our sports day last Friday was a great success. Thank you to Tommy Greene and Tom Sell for their organisation, to all staff who helped make it a successful day and to the parents who came along to assist and support their children. Congratulations to all the children for their participation.
Folk Festival Camping setup
A big thank you to Brett Matthews, Seif Sakate, Felicity Little and Lachy Bowes for their hard work in setting up the school grounds for the Folk Festival campers. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Folk Festival Workshops
Today the students took part in the Port Fairy Folk Festival School Workshops. They worked with Vern Hardie of Connected Circus who uses circus skills to explore resilience and positivity. Well done to our Year Sixes who helped Vern teach the younger students. Look out for Vern at the Folk festival this weekend.
Guest Speaker
Tomorrow Mr Peter Morgan, principal of Emmanuel College, will visit and speak to the students in Years Five and Six. This is in preparation for Emmanuel College’s Information Evening on Wednesday 11th March and Open Day on Sunday 15th March.
Folk Festival Concert
On Friday 6th March the students will attend a Folk Festival concert in our school hall at 12.00pm for Foundation to Yr 3 and 1.30pm for Yrs 4 to 6.
School Photos
School Photos are being taken on Tuesday 10th March. All students are to wear their complete summer uniform, even those who would normally have sport on a Tuesday.
