HSC Trial Examinations
Our Year 12 students begin their Trials on Monday 17 August. Whilst this is just another school based assessment, our students have been working together very hard to give their best efforts in these exams. Students have been briefed about the security and behaviour protocols required for the exams, and this is a good practice for the HSC in Term 4. We wish all of our Year 12 class every success as they approach this next challenge in their learning journey. Here is a prayer the girls may like to pray as they get ready for Monday:
Year 7 - 10 Parent and Teacher Interviews 14 August
Thank you to all of our parents (and their daughters) for your willingness to engage in today’s interviews via Zoom Teleconferencing. Whilst most interviews went off without a hitch, some took a bit of extra patience on everyone’s part. One of the apparent problems we managed was that a number of families were unaware of the interviews being held today, and they also had not read the instructions for booking appointments and logging on to the teachers’ Zoom rooms. We have attempted to improve our communications with parents, using as many channels as we can. Please ensure that you have the Caroline Chisholm Skoolbag app installed and that you regularly check your email for messages from us. If your email address has changed, please inform our office as a matter of urgency. Year 11 interviews will take place early in Term 4 using the same platform.
Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Survey
As has been mentioned in communications to parents earlier, we would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at Caroline Chisholm College.

Japanese Short Films - Wednesday 19 August
Year 9 and Year 10 Japanese classes will be creating short films in Japanese to enter into two film competitions. Students will be out of normal classes.
Year 7 World of Mathematics Day - Friday 21 August
Year 7 students will spend next Friday engaging in real world application of Mathematics skills and knowledge in our annual World of Maths Day. Some of the activities are physical so they can wear sports uniforms on the day.
Year 7 2021 - Transition Interviews
A reminder that the interviews for next year’s Year 7 students and families that were scheduled for Monday 17 August have been postponed until Term 4.
