Principal's Blog

Welcome to Week 8 Term 1.

The International Day of Mathematics

Today we are celebrating the International Day of Mathematics! The International Day of Mathematics is a global celebration, which takes place on the 14th of March. Each year the worldwide event focuses on a particular theme. The aim of the themes is to connect mathematics to all sorts of subjects, fields and ideas, spark creativity and provide focus to the event. This year the theme is Mathematics Unites. Thank you to Mrs McLean who has displayed some Maths jokes and problems around the school for our students’ enjoyment.

Parent Teacher Interviews

During weeks commencing 21st, 28th March and 4th April 2022 our staff will be conducting parent teacher interviews. These can now be held face to face.  Parents attending interviews during school hours will need to sign in using the QR code at the school office before moving into the school. For interviews outside of school hours your child's teacher will have a QR code in their classroom. All interviews will be held in classrooms.

Parent Teacher interviews are an excellent opportunity for parents to meet with their child’s teacher to see how they are progressing and learn the best way to support with their education. Please make use of this valuable time and register for an interview now.

The staff and students at Caves Beach PS take pride in our school and continue to uphold our excellent reputation of high expectations and student wellbeing.
