SRC Induction Ceremony
Our school’s leadership group will be inducted on Thursday 10 March at an assembly commencing at 10.25am. It will be so great to be able to have our families involved in this as restrictions have eased and visitors / parents are now allowed on site. Congratulations to our peer elected leaders for 2022.

Our Year 3 & 5 students will be taking part in this annual testing next term between the 10 & 20 May, and as always, we’ll organise this to maximise the chance of success and minimise the anxiety that may come with it. This year the tests will be administered online and lots of preparation is already being undertaken to ensure this all runs smoothly for our kids.
Adopt a Block
Next week on Thursday 17 March sees all our classes heading off on our first Adopt-A-Block delivery for the year. This is another highlight for us, to be able to connect with our near neighbours again, is something we have really missed. Students will deliver a package to their adopted neighbours on Thursday morning. Students have been busily creating items to add to the packages. If you are driving around our neighbourhood around 10.30am be sure to give them a wave!
Raising Responsibility
Fortunately, at our school we have a vast majority of students who can be relied upon to meet the expectations we have each and every day. At last Friday’s assemblies 87% of our students met our expectations. These students are to be congratulated and will no doubt be recognised shortly with the achievement of their Bronze Level. On the other side of the coin, 38 students were absent for 3 or more days, 30 students fell short of our school’s expectations. We work very hard to set up systems and processes to ensure consistency across the school. At times, when our strategies aren’t seeing improvement, we will need to call on parents and carers for support. It is crucial that families heed the call and work with us to work out how we get the best out of all our kids. At the end of the day, everyone has a choice – good choices will result in good consequences and poor choices will reflect poor consequences.
