Term 1 Week 4: 13th - 17th February 2023

Principal's Blog

Welcome to Week 4!

Returning for a new school year brings with it some reminders. Our school has grown, and we have new students across our school. Please remember the rules of the Pickup and Drop Off Zone to ensure these areas operate successfully and safely. Every parent has the right to pick up and drop off their child safely at school and we are all responsible for every child’s safety. When using this area, you need to be consistently aware of children who as we know can at times be unpredictable.

Make My Day

On Thursday I had a wonderful visit from Noah and Cooper from Yr 1. They showed me work they had been doing with Mrs Chensee with ‘Friends of Twenty”. The boys confidently spoke about their work and how they had used peer marking to check the answers. Well done you clever mathematicians!

Parent Teacher Interviews

Today you will receive information on booking procedures for our Term 1 Parent /Teacher Interviews. These interviews will take place across the week from Monday 20th Feb to Friday 24th Feb.

Sensory Garden

We are in the early planning stage of establishing a Sensory Garden for our school. We are inviting interested parents to become involved to make this a whole Caves Beach PS community project. We will also be looking to re furbish and update some of our existing playground equipment. If you are interested in helping with the design and building of the garden, please contact the school office and we will set up a working party.
