Dear Parents,
As the final week of the year draws to a close, I would like to thank our parent community for your support and contribution throughout 2022. May I take this opportunity to thank and congratulate all of you for your continued support and encouragement in working with us in partnership throughout the year to ensure the education of our students remain at a high standard. A school’s community is only as effective as their parent body that supports the staff in the education and development of your children. For all your efforts, encouragement, and enthusiasm throughout 2022, the staff and I are truly grateful. Your time and generosity are most appreciated. We look forward to your continued support in 2023!
I would like to thank and congratulate the staff at CTK for their continued commitment and ability to adjust to the changing educational environment that has been implemented throughout the year. Their professionalism, patience, and the collaborative approach they have undertaken to deliver the curriculum to our students during these trying times is second to none.
On Friday we will farewell our 2022 Year 6 Cohort. Over the last seven years we have watched these students grow into young men and women who will be moving onto high school in 2023. Their contributions and the footprint they will leave here at CTK has and will continue to define the culture and character of our great school. Thank you to every one of you for the legacies you leave behind because of your involvement and time at CTK. On Tuesday evening our graduating students and their families attended mass, presentation, and supper to celebrate the conclusion of their time at CTK. Thank you to our Year 5 parents who provided supper and refreshments for our Yr 6 students and their family on the night. This was greatly appreciated. We wish you all every happiness and success with your future endeavours and studies. Farewell and Good Luck!
At the end of the year our CTK community sadly farewell four of our teaching staff who have been members of our school for many years. We say goodbye to Mrs Samantha Roberts [OLOR Kellyville], Ms Marie-Louise Tcherkezian [St Anthony’s Girraween], Mr Ben Horne [St Theresa’s Denistone] and Mrs Melissa Szoloch [ OLOR Waitara]. Your presence here in our community will be sadly missed. We wish you all every happiness and success in the future endeavours. To Mr Chris Gierek, Miss Rachel Mouait, and Mrs Dana Drivas, thanks for your service and contributions to our community over the last twelve months.
