Welcome back to what is once again going to be a very busy and productive term! I hope all families had a safe and enjoyable holiday.

ANZAC Day Services

Thank you to all students who represented our school with pride on Monday at the ANZAC Day march. The RSL and local community appreciated your participation in this National Day of Remembrance.

Staffing Update

This term we welcome our new Assistant Principal, teaching 1F (previously known as 1M), Mrs Rhonda Faulkner to Caves Beach Public School. We also congratulate Mr Hamish Powell who is now our Stage 2 Assistant Principal.

Mothers Day stall

The P&C will be running a Mother’s Day Stall again this year. This will be on next Thursday 5th May. They will also be holding a Mother’s Day breakfast next Friday 6th June.

Opportunity Class Placement- Year 5 2023

At the end of last term all Year 4 students received information regarding ‘Intention to apply for Year 5 entry to opportunity class in 2023’. Applications to an opportunity class in 2023 open on Tuesday 26 April 2022 and close at 11.59 pm on Friday 13 May 2022.

To apply, you will need to access the online application at: https://education.nsw.gov.au/public-schools/selective-high-schools-and-opportunity-classes/year-5.

Parents and carers must apply by the due date as late applications cannot be accepted.
