Its been an exciting week of learning this week as we embrace additional learning technologies. The children created maps of the First Fleet passage and used Ozbots to track the journey using codes to mark the journey, stops and hazards along the way. Our new IPad Pros enabled our students to have eBooks from Inquisitive about Early Journeys to Australia' airdropped' to their personal device to complete reading and comprehension. New Apple TV's allowed teachers and children's work to be mirrored onto classroom whiteboards to present, share and showcase learning. OSMO Genius kits were purchased and used for individual and group challenges
In addition throughout Literacy & Numeracy activity Learning Intentions & Success criteria were discussed to help children and teachers focus on what we were trying to teach and learn.
Every child participated in assessment tasks (delivered one to one or in a small group) to help target learning and individualise learning plans for all students.
We celebrated National Sorry Week, prepared for First Eucharist and built Rockets in STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
