Principal's Report

2023 Class Structures

It's that time of year again! I am currently considering the class structures for 2023 based on the number of students we anticipate will be enrolled with us next year. Please let me know via email if there is a chance you are moving away or considering enrolling elsewhere. This will ensure we plan for any fluctuation in numbers that may impact our school. We aim to maintain 4 classes in 2023 and hope to provide further details in coming weeks to assist students transition.

School Swimming and Water Safety Program

We have been working with the School Sports Unit to set dates for the School Swimming and Water Safety Program. Due to swimming teacher staff shortages, we will need to run the program in Term 1 2023. We will provide details about the dates of the program once confirmed.

School Uniform

We have school jumpers in stock and available via the office for purchase.

Folk Festival Performers!

Our students who performed at the Folk Festival were really impressive! Thank you to our parents and family members who came along to support our students. Thank you to our musical director and conductor Kat Bevis and Mrs Gripper for supporting our students to prepare for the day.

Sporting Schools Gymnastics Program

We were successful again in obtaining a Sporting Schools Grant for Term 4! Fit Futures are running a gymnastics program each Friday from Weeks 1-4.

Grandparents Day

On Monday 31st October, we would like to invite all of our grandparents into the school for a short welcome assembly at 9.15 am followed by open classrooms to allow our grandparents to look around our school, see student work, help out with an activity or listen to students read. Please invite grandparents to join us between 9.15 and 10 am.

Shoalhaven Choral Music Festival

The Shoalhaven Choral Music Festival will be held on Tuesday 22nd November for all students in Years 3-6.

If you would like to come along and watch the performance, the Link to purchase tickets is below. Please ensure you select tickets for the 5.15pm time slot as this is when Kangaroo Valley Public School is performing.

Students will catch the bus to the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre for rehearsals on the day but will need to be collected from the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre at the conclusion of their performance at approximately 6.30pm. There will not be a returning bus for transport back to Kangaroo Valley.
