Letter from the Acting Principal

Our community is thriving thanks to the dedication of so many wonderful parents who generously share their skills, talents and time with our school.  I would like to thank the following parents who have assisted us this week:

Brett Heywood - for solving some ceiling leaks we have had this week and cleaning our gutters

Phil Brightwell - for completing the painting of the portables

Fleur Dow - for welcoming our new Prep families and helping them purchase their new uniforms

Our wonderful P&F and our President, Michelle Cann for their organisation of a very successful Trivia night

All those that have volunteered to help our P-2 students walk to the pool

Michelle Loughron and Priya Hall for beginning the planning and preparation of our Year 6 Graduation

Clint Parsons for helping us out after hours with a faulty lock at school

I am sure that there are many others who have helped out this week that I have not mentioned and to you - “Thank you

We are incredibly blessed to be a part of a community that works so hard to ensure our children have a wonderful place to learn and grow.  We can’t do it without you!

Before and After School Supervision

Please be aware that supervision for students begins at 8:30am on the top playground and classroom doors do not open until 8:35am.  Our teachers require time in the morning to plan and set up their rooms ready for their day so I ask that you do not drop your child at school before this time.

Swimming Carnival

We are looking forward to our swimming carnival for our Year 3-6 students on Tuesday 25th October at Aquatic Achievers, St Joseph’s College, Ferntree Gully.  The students will participate in events, including individual swimming races, team relays with some fun novelty events to be enjoyed.  All parents, grandparents and supporters are welcome on the day.

No Hat, Play in Shade

Just a reminder students need to wear a hat in Term 4 as part of our Sun Smart School Policy.  If students do not have a hat they are required to play in the shade.
