Sport is alive and well at St John the Baptist with over 40 children representing our school in the District Athletics Championships this coming Thursday. We wish our competitors the best of luck in their upcoming events and thank them for representing our school as both talented and fair sportspeople.
This week we have our whole school production to look forward to. You will be amazed at how fantastic the show is as it would certainly rival any Broadway Musical! Sue Cahill should be commended for all the time and effort that she has put into this great event. She has overseen every part of this Production from choosing the script right through to our final performance with an incredible eye for detail. Thank you Sue for your dedication and commitment to ensuring that our students have a wonderful opportunity to perform for their family and friends.
We are also very grateful to our staff and the many parents in our community that have so generously shared their talents and time. Our talented parent community have been sewing, building, shopping and all staff have been active in finding and making props and costumes, creating programs, organising the ticketing, practicing items and attending rehearsals, taking photos - the list goes on! It is wonderful to be a part of a community that work and support each other so well and I look forward to seeing you all on Friday for a night of wonderful entertainment.
