Introducing our New Deputy Principal

Hello everyone,

My name is Tristan Fay and I'm thrilled to be joining the team at St Patrick's Port Fairy. My partner, Amy and I and our 10 year old Border Collie,  Archie, are moving from Geelong to Port Fairy at the end of this year. We are so excited about living nearer to the beach, finding new coffee spots and enjoying the country town lifestyle we both grew up in.

A little about me: I grew up on a sheep and wheat farm near Skipton where my parents still live and work today. After graduating from Deakin University, I started my teaching career at Lumen Christi PS in Ballarat. I then lived and worked in London for two years and loved every moment of it, especially exploring all the different cultures of Europe. Since returning, I've been teaching in Geelong and have spent some time as Acting Principal at two schools in Western Victoria.

When I am not at school, you'll find me in the kitchen cooking new recipes, helping my dad on the farm, watching Collingwood win close games or walking Archie boy.

I can't wait to meet you all and be a part of your wonderful school community.

Tristan Fay
