Tell Them From Me Survey

A reminder that the survey window is open for parents and carers to provide feedback on being a part of our school community. We’d love to hear your thoughts so please click on the link below to access the survey.

Check In Assessment

Last week, our Year 5 students completed their online Check In assessment. Year 3 students will be completing their assessments next Tuesday, 8 September. If students have a pair of headphones or earphones, it would be helpful if they could bring them along to be used during the assessments. The school has sets students can use if they don’t bring them from home.

COVID-19

Your continued thanks for working with us to ensure our school community remains safe by keeping students at home and getting tested if they are unwell. A reminder that if students are away due to COVID-like symptoms, they may return to school once we have sighted a negative COVID test and are symptom free. Please ensure the reason for your child’s absence is communicated to the school office promptly.

Thank you.

Happy Fathers Day

We hope our dads, step dads, uncles and granddads have a wonderful day this Sunday!

Have a great week,

VALUE OF THE WEEK

MEET THE KINDYS

ROSIE

“I am Rosie (my real name is Rosalie) and I am five years old. I have a baby sister, a big sister and two big brothers.

At school, I like running and skipping with the Year 6 kids. I like writing stories, I really liked writing a letter to Mr White. I love reading groups and my favourite book is ‘Jolly Roger and the Treasure’.

At home, I like jumping on the trampoline. I can do a back flip on the trampoline, but my dad can do a back flip on the concrete! I also like to put on concerts for my mum and dad.

When I grow up I would like to sit in the front seat of the car and I would like to be a nurse."

MULTICULTURAL PUBLIC SPEAKING COMPETITION

Earlier this year Ruby was selected to represent our school in the 2020 Multicultural Public Speaking Competition.

Ruby has worked very hard to create a fantastic speech discussing the big issue of Sport - Bringing People Together.  A video of Ruby presenting her speech has been sent off and we wish her all the best in the competition!
