From the Principal

Student Success:

What an amazing term we have had! It is wonderful to be back to a full program of events and special days after two and a half very long years of restrictions. Congratulations to all students for the successes they have had in the classroom, playground and sporting field. All students should be very proud of their achievements and growth over the term.

Happy Holidays:

This Friday is our last day of Term 3. Students return to school on Monday 10th October. We wish our whole community a happy, safe holiday break.

MADD Night:

We are looking forward to our MADD (Music, Art, Dance, Drama) Night which is coming up on Tuesday 18 October (Week 2) next term! This twilight event will showcase all the talented students in our school. A timetable of events and detailed information will be sent out in the coming days.

Excursions:

We wish our Stage 3 students and teachers well as they head off to Bathurst and Dubbo in the first week of next term! We are sure they will have a great time.  Click here for latest update on Bathurst excursion. Congratulations to Stage 2 students who attended the Great Aussie Bush Camp last week. The students had an adventurous time with the giant swing nominated as the favourite activity. We commend them for their great behaviour and being excellent ambassadors for our school. Year 2 have been enjoying swim school over the past week. Swim school concludes on Friday and from all reports, their swimming  skills have improved immensely.  Well done, Year 2!

WBPS P&C are taking part in the Wonder White Recycling program for schools.  The idea is to collect as many bread or wrap bags as possible. The plastic bread bags can be any brand of bread or wraps but only bread or wraps (no other soft plastic). The collection box is in the office. The aim is to get as many kilos of bread and wrap plastic as possible to earn credits to buy outdoor equipment for our school which is made out recycled plastic.

*Please ensure the wrappings are free from any crumbs before depositing into collection bin.
