Principal’s Report

Whilst this year has once again been impacted by COVID-19, I believe we have had a great year. Collectively, we’ve learnt a great deal from our experiences and have again managed to make lemonade out of the lemons that were thrown at us. Whilst it hasn’t been perfect, there have been far more highs than lows. Mrs Sampson is looking forward to beginning her journey with us in 2023 and I’m sure we will show her that whatever presents itself in 2023, our collective commitment to Paradise gets us through. Be kind to yourselves and others.

Our Royal Blue Assembly was held Friday last week. We were very lucky to present 106 Royal Blue Awards.

Royal Blue Honour Roll 2022

Royal Blue Honour Students

We were also able to acknowledge these 7 students for achieving 100% attendance all year - Embalea Power, Catalina Chavez-Slater, Angus Weber, Dakoda Power, Manny Chavez-Slater, Kaleigh Power, Lilly Vigar

Our students were amazing and showed great respect for the occasion.

Tonight, at our Presentation Evening we have the privilege of acknowledging some of our students who are being recognised for their commitment to their schooling in many ways.

We would love to see as many families there as possible to celebrate and show our support for each other as a school community.

Our Year 6 Farewell Luncheon will be held this Thursday 15 December from 12.30pm and, as in past years, it is our staff’s opportunity to acknowledge our oldest students and wish them well as they transition to high school. It’s going to be fantastic!

To our Year 6 cohort who will be moving on to their secondary education, we wish you all the best and trust you will make the most of the opportunities available to you in high school. Remember, once a Northie, always a Northie!!

Really important, if you happen to know of any changes in enrolment for next year, please come and let the Front Office know or give us a call, as we need to finalise classes for next year.
