Dear parents/carers,
As the year ends we have lots to celebrate. It has been great to have a full year of onsite learning and to start to have more normal activity in school life. We are looking forward to having a relatively normal year next year. Hopefully we will be able to run all the usual extra curricular activities and other events which enrich school life.
Farewell to our Year 6 students and to any families who are moving. This week we were able to formally farewell Year 6 with both a graduation assembly yesterday and a Year 6 Farewell dinner on Monday night. We wish Year 6 all the best as they move on to the next stage of their life. Goodbye to all the families who are moving or have their last child finishing Year 6 this year, we are sorry to see you leave our school community and wish you good luck.
Farewell also to Mr Hann and Ms Tsang who are not returning to Pendle Hill Public School in a permanent capacity next year. We wish them both the best and thanks for all the hard work they have done to support their students this year.
Congratulations to our 2023 school captains and vice captains.
Captains Vrishti and Thomas
Vice Captains Keshav and Aarna
Thank you to our 2022 school captains Mysha and Tharanikaa, and vice captains Nate and Karma. The captains and vice captains have done a marvellous job this year as student leaders and role models.
Thank you also to our P&C committee, president Jamila Adams Critchley and secretary Darshita Patel.
December 16th 2022 is the last day for all of our K-6 students and Preschool WTF group. Preschool MTW group finished on Tuesday 13.12.22. School resumes for Years 1-6 on Tuesday 31.1.23.
Wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday.
regards
