Family Photo orders must be done by 4:30pm the night before Photo Day so we can organise a list of Family Photos that need to be taken. Any Family Photos that have not been ordered before the cut-off will not be taken. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions on the day.

All students will have an individual photo taken on Photo Day regardless if they are ordering or not. Individual student ordering will stay open after Photo Day.

Volunteers

Volunteers make a significant contribution to students and our community. All Volunteers must complete the Building Child Safe Communities Undertaking Form and online training module prior to being engaged by a school. This can be accessed by visiting the following link , scroll down to "Start Training Now"

School Fees

Families should have received their 2023 School Fee Statement-Instalment 1. Please contact the school office (via email) as soon as possible if you have not received your school fee statement.

Flexible Payment Plans (BPAY and BPoint) are offered with Instalement 1. Please set up your Flexible Payment Plan immediately, if you prefer this option. Those families that do not accept a Flexible Payment Plan offer, instalment 1 is due by 15 March 2023.

Parking

We have had a number of complaints from residents regarding illegal parking.

We ask that parents please remember:

  • Be patient and considerate of other drivers.
  • For morning drop off move right down to the end of the green fence and behind the car in front so that you don't cause a build up of traffic behind you. The whole area in front off the church is a drop of zone in the morning. Some parents are stopping at the front of the school gates instead of moving down behind the car in front of them. This is causing frustration with other parents waiting to drop their child at school.
  • Leave promptly after letting your children out of the car. You can not be parked for any longer than two minutes and must remain within three metres of your car in the drop off ozone.
  • Do not park across the driveways of residents, morning or afternoon.
  • Do not double park or perform 3 point turn in the street.
  • Do not verbally abuse other drivers. It is important that we set a good example for our children.

At times police and parking rangers visit schools and they will book drivers breaking the law.

OLOL Cross Country 2023

The OLOL Cross Country will be held next Friday, 3rd of March, at Yattenden Oval. Children who are turning 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 years old this year are invited to participate.

8/9 (combined age group) and 10 year olds will run 2km.

11 and 12 year olds will run 3km.

This is not a whole school event, a competitive running event, in which students participating are hoping to represent OLOL at a Dicocesan level. The children who do not want to take part in the Cross Country Carnival will remain at school with their classroom teacher. The children who would like to compete will be taken down to the oval to complete their event and will then return back to school.

Parents who wish to come must sit around the perimeter of the Cross Country course, away from the children. Events will commence with the 8/9 years olds at approximately 9.30am.

Additionally, our Fun Run will be held later in the year.
