Wingham Public School Bulletin

Term 3 Week 4

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

It was great to celebrate Education Week with a static display in the hall and musical performances on the hardcourt. The standard of work on display was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the class photos with speech bubbles from the students telling us what they want to do in the future. Our students have some interesting professions in the pipleines. “I want to be a coal miner.” Heath KC, “I want to work in the army.” Josh 5/6C, “I want to be a zookeeper.” Grace 3/4E, “I want to start a company that creates games.” Zac 5/6P, “I want to be a firework lighter.” Linkin 1/2M

Thank you to all the families who came along to support our school and to the hard working Education Week committee who organised everything.

EDUCATION WEEK MUSIC GROUPS

Last week we welcomed students and parents into the school to view work in the hall from all classes representing the subjects we teach.  Parents also enjoyed performances from the music groups that have worked with Heather this semester.  We thank her for volunteering at our school and working with teachers and students.  It was great to see some parents having a go on some of the instruments.  The theme for this years Education week was 'Creating futures- education changes lives' and we created a wish tree where people could write a wish for the future.
