Kindy Kapers

Kindergarten 2021 - Issue 1

From the Principal

Welcome!

A huge WELCOME to all our families joining us for Kindergarten 2021!

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of 2020, we are unable to have on-site visitors.

Balmain Public School follows the current health advice and restrictions provided by NSW Health and the Department of Education.

Kindy Kapers has been designed to keep us connected, as well as to keep you up-to-date with communications relating to anything and everything Kindergarten 2021 at Balmain Public School.

If you're not already following us on Instagram, see ? link - during the school term, we aim to post on a daily basis, as well as include stories, where we share moments of the day (and these vanish after 24 hours). Some of our stories are saved as highlights...go and check it out!

If you have yet to see our exciting virtual Kindergarten visit, 'A Day in the Life of Kindergarten' on Instagram and/or website, it has been also been included in this issue.

Enjoy the inaugural issue of Kindy Kapers and we look forward to meeting you and your child/ren soon!

Term 4 (TBC) - Transition to School program

In Term 4, Balmain Public School normally holds a 'Transition to School' program, where our future Kindergarten children participate in some morning sessions in the Kindy space.

We are currently trying to navigate what this will look like for us this year for our 2021 Kindergarten cohort, whilst following current NSW Health and Department of Education (DoE) guidelines.

In the meantime, enjoy the short DoE produced 'Transition to School' video ?, featuring Balmain Public School!
