P&C News

Blaxland P&C has some exciting events planned for the second half of the year.

Friday Afternoon Coffee and Play is back.

Thank you to Café au Go Go for coming to our school on Friday afternoon. This week we will be trailing a new location as many parents wait outside the school gates. The coffee van will be parked in the Baden place car park with space on the front grass to talk and play. Alternatively, once you have bought your coffee you can go inside the school grounds for school pick up.

BPS tea towel, tote bags and aprons fundraising event is coming soon!!!

Soon our BPS students will be asked to draw their self-portrait for the tea towel, tote bags, and aprons. The ordering system will be online. We will share more information shortly so you can start ordering these wonderful keepsakes.

Father’s Day stall Thursday 1st September

We are asking for some dad volunteers to run the Father’s Day stall this year. The gifts have been ordered so all you need to do is come along and sell the gifts. It is so much fun to see what children pick for their dad!! If you could volunteer 1 or 2 hours of your time between 9am and 11am on Thursday 1st of September that would be wonderful.

Colour Run family fun afternoon

We are looking into running a colour run as a family fun afternoon on Friday 16th December this year. We would like to celebrate together and have a fun end to the year. The P&C would love to extra help to help this event run smoothly. We are setting up a working party to plan and run this event. Please contact us if you are able to help. Families are invited to join in the colour run, which will be held after lunch on Friday 16th December so please put the date in your calendar.

Next P&C Meeting

Our next meeting will be Tuesday the 13th September (Term 3, Week 9) via zoom.
