Stage 3 students and teachers returned safe and sound after our adventures in Canberra. All students were very well behaved and reacted positively to all the special sights that were visited. I am sure that they all slept well after their trip to Canberra; I know that I did!!
This is the last week of this school term. All students and teachers return on Monday 14 October. I trust that you will enjoy the extra time with your children. Let’s hope that we have great weather so we can get out and enjoy our fantastic community parks, beaches and waterways.
I have attached my summary sheet from the 2019 NAPLAN assessments. The printed reports for students in Years 3 and 5 have been posted home to parents and carers and this report will provide information on your child’s assessment results.
Please contact me after the holidays if you would like me to help you understand and analyse the report. Please remember that this is a snapshot of progress or achievement over a two year period; your child’s class teacher will be able to describe your child’s progress, skill development and engagement in learning with a lot more detail and clarity.
