P&C Welcome BBQ

Last Friday night we had our annual P&C Welcome BBQ. The rain held off enough for all families and children to have a great time socializing, playing games and catching up with old friends. I want to thank everyone in our school community that came along and made it such a great night, and also give a special thanks to our incredible P&C who volunteered to make our night such a great success.

If you would like more information about the work our P&C does, please visit our website or contact our office.

Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews

Our parent-teacher-student interviews are on this week. As all students have brand new teachers this year, these interviews will be a valuable time for teachers to get to know their students and their families better, so that together we can make sure that our classrooms are engaging and challenging for your children. Interviews have been scheduled for 15 minute slots, and students are invited so they can be a part of the discussion. If you need longer than 15 minutes you will need to arrange another time to continue the meeting with your teacher.

Our teachers have been very accommodating with their time allocations. If they don't suit your schedule, please reach out to your child's teacher to arrange another time this week or next.

Morning Parking Reminder

Just a reminder that the parking bays out the front of the school are "No Parking" during school drop off/pick up times. These parking bays are reserved for parents to drop their kids off only. If you need to come into the school grounds during these times please park on the street. Thanks for your help in this matter.

SDPSSA Basketball Tryouts

On Wednesday Molly and I went to the Shoalhaven Indoor Sport Centre to try out for the SDPSSA Basketball team. We started off easy by dribbling with our right hand up the court and left hand down. As the day went on it got a lot harder. We did team activities which included teamwork and encouraging each others. After a long day of hard work we sat down and got the results of the girls team. I got in the team! I’m excited to play in the District team later in March. - Grace A

Events

Friday 28th of Feb - 1/2D Assembly

Our second assembly of the year is happening this Friday with an item performed by 1/2D! 2pm at the hall.

This year's 3-6 camp to Koloona is all booked in. It is a fantastic camp where students get to participate in a range of exciting activities, including abseiling, rope climbing, pool canoeing, archery and go-kart riding.

The camp has been heavily subsidised by our school and P&C, which brings the overall cost down to $284 per student. We will accept payments in instalments and will release information about this soon.

In the meantime, watch our video from 2018 so you can see the fun activities that students get to participate in!

Our events for the year are regularly updated on both our website and Skoolbag app. Make sure you check them out so you know what's coming up at our school!

Canteen and Uniform

Uniforms and Friday lunches can be ordered through the My School Connect website/app. Please click on the link above to find out more.
