Principal's Report

Dear Parents and carers,

New Date for Presentation Day – Now Friday 9 December

I’m sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to move the date of our presentation day back a week to Friday 9 December. Vincentia High School has informed me that urgent unscheduled work will be occurring for the week of our original presentation assembly date, necessitating the change of date. I understand that parents may have organised their work schedules based on the original date and apologise for any difficulties the change in date has caused.

 Shoalhaven Choral Music Festival

Our amazing choir were brilliant in their performance at last night’s Shoalhaven Choral Music Festival at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. They sang their individual item 'Let’s Get Loud', beautifully, and were a valuable part of the massed choir, singing well known classics from ABBA, John Farnham and the Beatles.

A huge thank you to Ms Baker for leading our choir so capably, as well as the music festival committee, including our own Mrs Raymer, for putting on an amazing show. Congratulations one and all!

Kindergarten Orientation

Our third and final Kindergarten Orientation session will be held tomorrow, Thursday 24 November. Parents are welcome to join us again in the library for an information session including a fashion parade to show off our uniform and last minute tips to ensure your child's start to kindergarten is a smooth one!

Disco

A reminder that our end of year disco will be held after school on Friday 9 December. A note went home last week that we are asking to be returned, with $6 enclosed.  Please be aware that the children will be receiving  a SAUSAGE SANDWICH, DRINK and DESSERT. Please return the note by Thursday 8 December so we can confirm numbers.

Have a great week,

Rod

LIBRARY STOCKTAKE

All books are due back THIS WEEK ready for the annual library stocktake.

Overdue notes will be sent out next week to any students with outstanding books.

Thank you for your assistance in getting the library books back on time.

SRC - TALENT QUEST!

On Wednesday in Week 10, the SRC will be holding a ‘Tomerong’s Got Talent’, talent quest.

In previous years we have had some amazing acts  which included singing, dancing, comedy, musical instruments, magic tricks, hula hooping and short skits.

We already have lots of students who have put their names down to perform.

The SRC will be taking names of students at LUNCHTIME again this Thursday  and the act which they would like to perform, as well as the name of the song (if needed).

Please note that if any music is required it must be able to be found on ‘Spotify Kids ‘ as the music will be played from this app.

We are looking forward to a wonderful and fun, final SRC event for 2022!
