Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,

World Teachers’ Day

World Teachers’ Day is celebrated in Australia this Friday, 28 October. We’re so fortunate to have such amazing educators in our school who inspire, support and guide our students every day. Thank you to each of our brilliant teachers for everything you do for our students and families.

Slime Run

Our staff, students and parent volunteers had an amazing time getting slimy during last Friday’s Slime Run.

Thank you to all our students who raised funds. Congratulations to Year 1 who, as a reward for raising the most money in the school, were given the pleasure of sliming the Principal… they certainly made the most if it! Congratulations to Fairley who raised an amazing $575 which was the highest amount for any individual student.

Finally, thank you to our hard working P&C for delivering such a fun-filled event.

A reminder that we would love you to provide feedback via the online ‘Tell Them From Me’ (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at our school.

Our school will provide a bus for students to travel to and from the high school and parents, family members and friends are most welcome to attend. Formalities will commence at 10:30am. A permission note will be sent home with students in due course.

Shoalhaven Music Festival

Our choir is sounding fantastic as they prepare for their performance at the Shoalhaven Music Festival on Tuesday 22 November. Students will receive a note in coming days. Tickets are available from https://shoalhavenentertainment.com.au/whats-on/event-details/shoalhaven-choral-music-festival costing $15 for adults, $10 for concession and $5 for students/children. Choir students do not require a ticket. Tomerong Public School Choir will be performing at the 5.15pm show. We look forward to seeing you there!
