Our annual Walkathon will be on next Wednesday 7th August. Sponsorship sheets were sent home last term and again this week. Additional forms are available at the office. A digital copy can be found later in e-newsletter. We appreciate all donations big and small from neighbours, friends and family. Once again our children will walk the school grounds to raise money for additional resources.
The Walkathon will run at approximately between 12:20-1:30pm
A BBQ lunch will be provided.
During Term 3 our Inquiry unit focus is Geography. Each class will be investigating the impact of Geography on Australia and selected other countries. This will involve investigating weather, landscapes, flora, fauna, animals etc. We are lucky to be able to include Reptile Encounters Incursion on Wednesday 7th August ( prior to Walkathon) which helps identify the habitats of Australia and the animals that thrive and the animals that have become extinct or are in danger of becoming extinct due to environmental changes.
