We Are Enjoying Book Week And Education Week!

We are enjoying Book Week and Education Week!

This week, our students are enjoying learning about books and the theme of Book Week ‘Curious creatures, creative minds!’ Students have enjoyed making a ‘curious creature’ in class. You will see your child’s work over Skoolbag next week.

On Tuesday, students and staff across the school participated in a ‘stop and read!’ where we all enjoyed escaping in a book together.

We celebrated education at our school by viewing a special video made by Year 6. The Year 6 students shared what they love about LEPS.

We will share photos of our activities in next week’s newsletter.

Yesterday our LEPS students all "Stopped and Read" for 2020 Book Week.

Kindergarten Enrolment 2021.

We are now taking enrolments for Kindergarten 2021.  If you have a child that is eligible to commence school in 2021, or know of anyone who has, could you please come to the school and provide your details.
How to enrol

Contact us when you are ready to enrol your child in our school. You will need to attend an interview with the Principal. There you can discuss any medical conditions or other special circumstances before your child starts school. We may also complete a risk assessment on the enrolment.

For more information, visit primary school enrolment.

Apply online

Our new online enrolment process makes it easier and faster to enrol your child at your local school.

To apply online, you must:

  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident

  • live in the local enrolment area of this school.

Apply for enrolment online

If you are not eligible to use the online form or prefer not to, you can download an application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB).

The application form must be completed in English. However, a translated application to enrol may help you to fill out the form in English.

Out-of-area enrolments

As outlined in the Department’s enrolment policy, our school may accept enrolments from outside our local enrolment area if places are available.

We will assess applications for non-local enrolment on a case-by-case basis.

Canteen is open every WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY

Parents and Carers, PLEASE CONTINUE to remain off site

All parents and carers need to continue to wait outside the gate for drop off and pick up.

Should you need to come into the school, please go directly to the front office.

Please note, we can only have  TWO PEOPLE at a time in the school foyer for social distancing reasons - these protocols are in place to keep everyone safe and we appreciate your support.
