Chisholm Need to Know

CAROLINE CHISHOLM COLLEGE

Leaving Caroline Chisholm College in 2020?
This is a reminder that families must inform us, in writing, by Friday, 25 September, if they intend to discontinue the enrolment of their daughter at Caroline Chisholm College in 2021. If this written notice is not received by 25 September and your daughter does not continue her education here in 2021 then you will be liable for the payment of fees for Term 1, 2021 as detailed in the agreement signed on enrolment at the College. Please note if you are discontinuing the enrolment of your daughter at Caroline Chisholm College you must also provide written evidence of the enrolment of your daughter in another school.

Your appropriate response is requested so that we can offer places, in a timely manner, to new families seeking enrolment.

Red Kite
Year 9 will be hosting a fundraising initiative during Week 10 for Red Kite. Red Kite is a charity that helps support children with cancer. We would like to assist students and families within our community affected by Cancer and donate these funds to Red Kite.

We will be having a 'Wear Red Day' with a gold coin donation and a BBQ on Tuesday 22nd September. Also on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 10 at lunchtime we will be asking students to come and purchase and make their own badges at lunchtime in the Gallery.

Thank you in advance for supporting this fundraising initiative.

Uniform expectations
As we have moved to summer uniform requirements a little before the end of term, it is clear now that socks are being worn rather than stockings that a number of students are wearing skirts that are now too short, presumably due to growth since the start of the year.

Skirts need to at the bottom of the knee when worn normally. A number of girls have been given notes by Year Leaders and homeroom teachers indicating this is not the case. Even if your daughter has not been given a note, parents are asked to check this before school returns for Term 4. The holiday will give an opportunity to have hems taken down or, if needed, a new skirt purchased from Lowes in Penrith Plaza.
