Dear Parents/Carers,
Please read the following updates and information for you to take note of.
In-Term Swimming Lessons
Your children (pre-primary to year 6) should have brought home a note, a green swimming enrolment form and a payment envelope this week for them to participate in the in-term swimming lessons in weeks 9 and 10 of this term (Commencing 16th September). If you have not yet received this note, please advise the school office so we can organise one for you. The cost of the swimming lessons is covered by the Department of Education but students need to pay for the cost of the buses and pool entry.
The total cost will be $50.00 per student for 10 days of swimming.
We are asking for payment to be completed in full by Friday 6th September. After this time, any children who haven't paid in full will be unable to attend due to the organisational timelines required by the pool staff.
We provide several payment options for your convenience as stated below:
- EFTPOS in the office
- Cash/Cheque
- Direct Deposit to our bank account ~ BSB: 066 106 Account: 00900047
- Providing your credit card details on the payment envelope provided
- Making part payments by one of the above methods to pay the total off before 6th Sept
The green swimming enrolment forms need to be completed and returned asap.
Runners Club
All students from Kindy to Year 6 are welcome to join the Carlisle PS Runners Club which will run every Wednesday and Friday for the term starting next Wednesday 31st July from 8.00am to 8.30am on the school oval.
Year 5/6 Camp
Parents/Carers of the year 5/6 students attending camp are reminded that payment is due as soon as possible and must be paid in full by Friday 30th August. You are welcome to make part payments if this is more convenient.
Fundraising Sausage Sizzle
The final fundraising sausage sizzle for the year 5/6 camp will be held on Wednesday 31st July. No pre-orders will be taken. Students just need to bring their money to the undercover area at the start of lunch. Cost is $3.00 each. No drinks will be available.
Early Arrivals To School
Parents are again being asked to make sure your children are not arriving at school before 8.15am (unless there is a school activity) as there is no duty of care provided at this time. Some students are arriving before any staff are on school grounds and this puts them in a vunerable position if something happens.
