PAYING IT FORWARD - INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY

#bekind

Our motto of Be Kind is well and truly alive at West Lakes Shore School. Well done to the school community for the fantastic effort on Superhero dress up day. Students, staff and even siblings got in on the act and we raised $1000 for International Nurses Day.

Emma Carey instigated a flood of kindness with her email to Mrs Press, asking ‘as a school we always do things to help’ and wanting us to do things to help those such as elderly people impacted by COVID-19.

Along with raising $660 last term for the Uniting SA care appeal, Emma and a few West Lakes Shore students and staff enjoyed the chance to hand over 250 coffee vouchers to the staff at the RAH on Tuesday.

Enjoy the photo montage and check out this kind act through our Facebook link. We also received a lovely 'Thank You' letter from the Central Adelaide Local Health Network showing their appreciation for our thoughtful donation.
