PRINCIPAL'S NEWS

Dear Parents

We have come to the end of term 3 and I am very sure both the students and teachers have earned a very well deserved rest.

A little reflection and recap gives us an understanding of the amazing opportunities that the students and parents of RPS enjoy.

  • We started with two weeks of swimming,
  • performances from JSR Drama group,
  • Interschool cross country,
  • Year 6 Camp,
  • A fantastic athletics carnival,
  • Visits from Constable Care,
  • Class Assemblies every second week that were extravaganzas of song, dance and academic brilliance,
  • Student Council Showcase at Wanneroo Council,
  • Science Week,
  • Parents Night,
  • Choir practice every Thursday morning before school,
  • Fitness every Tuesday and Thursday morning with Mr Pham,
  • English Classes for parents on Mondays,
  • Brownes Farm Incursion,
  • Interschool athletics,
  • And (phew) the Massed Choir performance at the Perth Concert Hall,
  • Work Experience students from various high schools,
  • University Pre-service teachers,

Not to forget to mention all the daily academic work both staff and students are engaged in.

No wonder we are tired.

Please take a break, enjoy the sunshine to come and relax.  Please remember that Students start next term on Tuesday, October 11th.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the book fair parade.  The costumes were all amazing.  Some very imaginative ones and some really well thought out home made costumes too.  Well done to these lucky students who have won a prize.  Thanks to everyone who supported the book fair.  The P&C raised just over $1400 in cash commission and will sponsor a Mucky Duck Bush Band evening for all families in Term 4.
