Anzac Day.

Thank you to all the parents who accompanied their children to our Anzac March in Morpeth and other Marches around the area. It was wonderful to see the students stand tall with such respect for those who have served and those who continue to so that we have the freedom and safety to live as we do.

So proud of our School Captains, Hailey and Blake, who led our school and read The Prayer of Thanksgiving, and of all the students who marched and then remained steady and respectful throughout the heat of the commemorative service! Well done!

Athletics Carnival

WOW! What an incredible day it was at the school athletics carnival on Monday. I would like to congratulate our sporting stars on their efforts both on and off the track. All students conducted themselves with respect and responsibility and left it all out on the track. This was our schools first experience at Maitland Regional Athletics track, the kids loved it and it was great to see so many ribbons being shown with pride! The organisation by teachers and the tremendous efforts made by parent helpers made for a smooth and enjoyable event. Thank you to all those involved. Age champions and Zone athletes will be announced at next week’s assembly.
