We are well and truly back into the swing of things at CPS. It’s been lovely to see so many parents come along to the Parent Information Sessions, we have had great feedback; in particular how the teachers are so committed to the children academically and socially/ emotionally, thank you.
We are so honoured to have such a collaborative and engaging relationship with the Board and P & C. We have developed a wonderful collective and valued voice that fully supports positive student outcomes and consequently an active, informed and engaged community. We look forward to continuing this in 2023 and adding to the great experiences that we all share at CPS. The Board are more than happy to support any enquiries that you may have with governance or will seek guidance to support your questions.
Leadership plays an important role for staff in driving the direction and successful student outcomes. We actively develop and support staff seeking leadership across the school. Consequently, development of our Curriculum Leadership Team for 2023 has been developed to assist in supporting the Departments 2023 directions of Teaching for Impact and Quality Teaching which will value add to our Business Plan focus in this area over the last 3 years.
As part of this leadership, Ms Lucy McNamara has joined the Student Services team managed by Mrs Jo Morgan. Our new school psychologist began at CPS this week. We warmly welcome Ms Emme Viney who will be a valuable asset to our Student Services and school team. We are also in the process of interviewing chaplains. Thank you to the parents who have provided feedback on our Student Services and understanding the role of this, the psychologist and Chaplain. The team will soon be providing an overview of the structure of the services we can provide and what the roles and responsibilities are of each area
I will be on LSL weeks 4 (Tuesday) and 5. Mr J will be in the seat in my absence.
Enjoy your weekend!
