Dear Parents & Guardians

It is wonderful to have our students back at school, thank you to our families for again adapting to remote schooling with ease.  During lockdowns, we deepen our understanding of the importance of family and friends, and how much we appreciate them.

Last Monday, the 26th July, was the Feast Day of St Joachim and St Anne, the parents of Our Lady Mary and the grandparents of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us find time this week to honour all grandparents who help guide us and walk the journey of life with us, and thank them for the very important role they play in our lives.

Building works, Playground and Carpark: Over the past few weeks, a great deal has changed on the building site. What remains is the brick frontage of the old building which will be incorporated into the new build. Around 40 truck loads of rock and gravel have been added in readiness for the slab to be poured. The building works have meant a reduction in parking spaces and I thank you all for your patience during drop-off and pick-up.

You will also notice the new boundary fencing installed in line with Victorian Child Safety Standards for schools.

Canteen: The canteen will re-open this week, canteen days are Mondays and Thursdays, please ensure orders are placed before 8:45am on the day required.

Green and Gold Day: This Friday, we are having a Green and Gold Day to celebrate the 2021 Olympic Games, currently taking place in Japan. We ask the students to wear any Green and Gold coloured clothing, to symbolise the Australian Olympians. If this is not possible, children simply wear their school sports uniform. All students are to wear their runners for their class activities.

Unfortunately, we are unable to have parents onsite for this activity due to current COVID restrictions. Thank you for your understanding.

Parent Teacher Interviews via ZOOM: Parent Teacher Interviews have been rescheduled to next week Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th August.  As COVID restrictions will NOT currently allow for face-to-face meetings, we will conduct these interviews via ZOOM using your current booking date & time.

You will receive an invitation and login code via email on Tuesday Morning, 3rd August.  Zoom meetings will be 15 minutes in length.

If you have not yet made a booking please do so by no later than Thursday 29th July, 2pm to allow time for organisation.  Booking link below:

Students are to wear their house colours and appropriate footwear for the day.

Unfortunately, we are unable to have parents onsite for this activity due to current COVID restrictions. Thank you for your understanding.
