Welcome to week 10, Term 3.
I hope that this newsletter finds you safe and well.
We have made it to the end of yet another busy but fun term, and I am sure we are all ready for a break and a chance to relax and reset.
Being the last week of term it has been wonderful to see our student’s good behaviour being rewarded at various reward sessions across the stages. Thank you to the teachers also for making this possible. Thank you too, to those students that epitomise our school values of Respect, Responsibility & Excellence, it does not go unnoticed.
The past 2 weeks once again have seen some fun and exciting events held here at Wyong Public School. We have had our annual Book Fair in the library, with many eager readers looking for a new book or 2 to take home. A huge thank you to Mrs Adams for co-ordinating it all, as well as Mrs Roberston, Mrs Fiene and Mrs Kroemer for all the help in setting it up for the students to enjoy. A number of students also that have shown a great commitment to their reading were awarded the Kerri Beavan award. These students have shown a passion for reading and therefore a commitment to improving their skills, well done.
Last Friday we also held our field events for K-2 here on site. All students had a great time, participated in all events and showed great sportsmanship. Thanks to all that help co-ordinate this.
As you have noticed the majority of maintenance upgrades are complete, with a few more exciting additions to come. We can’t wait to show you.
2021 is approaching fast, and whilst we are not able to hold Kindergarten orientation as usual, please take the time to fill out the survey below in this newsletter to give us the best idea of how to cater for the new students of 2021. If you have a child, or know of anyone starting Kinder in 2021, please spread the word and drop in for enrollment papers.
We hope that you all enjoy the holidays, and we cannot wait to see you back and ready for a fun and exciting Term 4.
