SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

Dear Parents

The school photo orders will be coming home soon. Please note the following:

  • Magnetic photo frames and additional prints are slotted between the prints of your package.
  • Key chains are packed separately and distributed by the school office to the classroom teachers, who then distribute to the students. Check with your teacher if you have not received yours as yet.
  • Sibling photos are delivered to the eldest child and placed inside their photo package as additional prints if applicable.
  • Digital negative orders will be sent to your email address supplied within 3-5 days of the school photo delivery.  Don’t forget to check your junk mail folders.
  • You are still able to place additional orders via the Kapture website including orders for sports, music or special group photos taken on school photo day.  Use the same school code as previously supplied.

If you ordered photos more than 10 days after photo day, your order will be handled separately and mailed directly to your home address within the next 28 days.  Check your confirmation email for more information.

STUDENT COUNCIL

#BetterLives Project - Food Bank WA

It's that time of year again!  2022 has been an interesting time for families and as always, the parent community of Rawlinson has done a fabulous job of supporting students and staff!

Last year as part of our #BetterLives project the school supported Food Bank WA and raised 260 kilos of pantry staples as part of the Rawlinson Christmas Food Drive.  Given the success and support we enjoyed last year, we are not making this an ongoing process to support Food Bank WA and all items collected will be donated to Food Bank our school and local community partnership.

The student councillors are looking to collect the following items as part of their Food Drive for this term.  Each year level is requested, if possible, to donate any ONE item from their year list.  If you are a parent with children in different year levels, please choose Any One Item you would  be happy to donate.  All items can be dropped off in A Block Wet Area in the Food Collection Box.  We will then organise a time to drop off the collected items to Food Bank WA in Week 9 of this term.  Collection is open this week and will remain open until Wednesday of Week 9.

P & C NEWS

UNIFORM SHOP

Kindy Open Day - NEXT WEEK

We will be open from 12.00pm -1.00pm and then 2.00pm -3.00pm (Possible a little bit later) on Thursday 24th November for all our new Kindy Families.  I still need helpers for both time slots.

We are still urgently in need of volunteers for our open day on the 24th. You do not need to be on the P & C committee to volunteer at the school (so far, Committee members are the only volunteers I have and I need more!).  It is a great way to meet other parents at our school, and be a part of the school community.  Please either email me at Rawlinson.uniforms@gmail.com. or add your name to the uniform volunteers sheet in the office.

Uniform Shop Closing

We are nearing the end of the year and the Uniform Shop will close for 2022 on the 24th November on Qkr! and no paper orders will be accepted after this date.  Any orders made through Qkr! will be packed and delivered Monday 28th November, and there will be no further deliveries made.

Kind regards
