Wow what a term we have had!
We are grateful to be able to say that we have achieved so much in such and interrupted start to the year.
We have admired the way that our learners have attended each day keen to grow their skills and knowledge. We have watched them tackle tasks with curiosity and wonder and been reminded that learning and school are so important.
We have appreciated the support of families who have supported their children to adapt to changes. Families have had to share news about the changes we have had to implement to ensure health and safety, this has been difficult at times, especially if the First Day at school was no longer a Monday, that for some were not returning until mid-February, home learning was back, swimming was cancelled, excursions were changed, friends and staff were going to be away, circuit breakers were enforced or PCRs recommended.. just to name a few.
Our staff have again been amazing, having to adapt to other daily changes as well as those listed above as well as for some having to do daily RAT test for weeks on end. They have remained committed to student learning and supporting wellbeing.
There are some changes that we are hoping to see next term though these will allow us to reconnect with our community. We are looking forward to having volunteers and community at our Working Bee on 14th May and at the Federal Election BBQ.
We hope that you all enjoy a happy and safe Easter and school holidays and look forward to seeing everyone return on 2nd May 2022.
