As you are all aware, on Monday the school closed in accordance with Covd19 State of Emergency advice issued by the PNG Government. Throughout the week, teachers have been busily preparing Learning Packs that students will use from home at the beginning of Term 2 if schools are still closed. These packs can be collected on Thursday, the 26th March, from 3pm - 5pm or on Monday the 30th between 8am and 12pm. Teachers have endeavoured to prepare easy to use activities that will ensure children have plenty of work to complete.
Please ensure your child does not complete the work in the holidays, but rather waits to the start of Term 2 on the 20th April.
Also, please ensure that your child's teacher has correct contact details - email, mobile, WhatsApp, Messenger etc. Teachers will be in regular contact with parents and students to monitor learning. High school students with mobile phones / devices are asked to share their phone number with their teacher.
The school plans to use a number of platforms for the remote teaching period. These include Skype and Google Classroom. Login details for students will be sent out in due course.
