Goodbye and Goodluck Mrs Shina, Welcome Miss Mallam

Congratulations to Mrs Rylee Shina who will leave Sutton Public School at the close of this term to commence maternity leave! We wish Mrs Shina and her husband all the absolute best as they begin their family. Thank you, Mrs Shina, for your contribution to Sutton Public School.

On our return to school for Term 2, we will welcome Miss Ashlee Mallam who is joining our kindergarten team. 

SCHOOL CHOIR 2023

We are pleased to recommence choir rehearsals in Term 2, 2023!

Students in Stage 2 and 3 (years 3 -6)  are able to participate. Choir rehearsals will be held in the school hall, during lunchtimes on Wednesday.

Mrs Sullivan and Mrs Casey will lead choir.

No singing experience is required and there are no auditions.

Year 4 Students - Applying for Opportunity Class Year 5 and 6 entry in 2024

Opportunity classes and selective high schools form part of the NSW Department of Education's commitment to identify and provide a range of opportunities for high potential and gifted students in NSW.

Applications for Year 5 entry to an opportunity class in 2024 will open on Thursday 30 March 2023 and close on Monday 15 May 2023.

.NB All candidates are required to sit the Opportunity Class Placement Test on Thursday 27 July 2023.

The Opportunity Class Placement Test will be held in designated high school test centres or at other facilities already negotiated.

SENTRAL Parent Portal

Our school has undertaken a new initiative, the SENTRAL Parent Portal. Our aim is to move into the digital era and create an environment of paperless communication between parent/carers and the school. To do this we need to check we have the right email address for you and understand any problems you might have in making this change.

Murrumbateman – Wednesday 19th- Friday 21st April

Games, technique, multi-sport programs and prizes available for all participants. Supervised swimming available on Yass afternoons.

Qualified Tennis Australia Coaches available.

Yass Morning (Little Pros Ages 4-7). Time 10am-12pm. Daily Cost $40.  4 Day Cost $130

Yass Afternoon (Shooting Stars Ages 8-16). Time 12pm-4pm. Daily Cost $55. 4 Day Cost $185

Murrumbateman Morning (Little Pros Ages 4-7). Time 10am-12pm. Daily Cost $40.  3 Day Cost $100
