Term 1, Week 3 2020

LEADERSHIP CORNER

It was wonderful to see so many families here on Monday evening for Meet the Teacher Night. The students enjoyed showing their parents, grandparents and friends their new classrooms and Specialist subject areas and introducing them to their new teachers.

Meet the Teacher Night was followed with the Annual General Meeting, where our new Governing Council was elected. We are very fortunate at WLSS to have so many supportive families.

Teachers have worked extremely hard to ensure a smooth start to the year and the children have settled in to their new routines. We have been out and about in classes and noticed how positively the students are engaging with their learning.

It has been wonderful to have so many children excitedly bringing their work up to the office to share with us.

Have a safe weekend
