Primary Staff 2020

Kindergarten

Miss Belinda Norris

I live in Goulburn with my family and travel each day to Braidwood to teach amazing students. Life outside school keeps me busy with soccer, tennis and various other activities my children are involved in. I enjoy reading, singing and listening to music and taking time out for myself by walking or running.  This year with be my fourth year of teaching at BCS. I also have the privilege of leading the primary choir and I am looking forward to a fantastic year of singing.

1 / 2 E

Ms Jaclyn Egan

I moved to Batemans Bay late last year with my husband Ronan and 1-year old daughter Ainslie. I have been teaching in Queensland for the last 10 years in various roles including classroom teaching, curriculum coordinating and teaching in special needs units. Prior to that I taught at a French school in Quebec, Canada, as well as a defence school in Plymouth, England.

I enjoy spending my weekends camping in my campervan along the coast with my family and love to spend the weeknights swimming at the beach and reading great books.

2 / 3 S

Miss Hannah Shepherd

This year, I am privileged to be teaching our 2/3 class. This will be my fourth class at BCS. Before living in Braidwood, I was living and working on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

On the weekends, I love to spend time exploring new places and going for walks. I love to visit the beach and read a book by the water. I also spend some of my weekends in Sydney catching up with my gorgeous family and friends. I am lucky enough to be able to support my siblings by watching them play basketball and perform in a range of theatre performances.

3 / 4 C

Mrs Danielle Clarke

I have been a member of the Braidwood community for the past 12 years and have been a casual, part- time and fulltime teacher both at BCS and other schools in NSW during this period of time. Before this I was a fulltime teacher for five years in the ACT and spent two years teaching in Western Australia.

In my spare time I enjoy going on road trips, caravanning and family movie and game nights. Mostly,  I just enjoy quality time with my family.

5 / 6 M

Miss Aimee Mutch

Hello and welcome back to our BCS families! I am excited to be beginning my fifth year at Braidwood Central and am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning with 5/6M. This year, I am also taking on a new role as relieving Assistant Principal. I love that this role allows me to work more closely with students across K-6 and assist in whole school planning for this amazing school. I grew up on the coast and attended University in Wollongong which meant that moving to Braidwood in 2016 was a big change. However, I feel so lucky to live and work in such a wonderful town.

5 / 6 R

Mrs Lindsay Radburn

Hello! I am the new Assistant Principal for K-6 at BCS and I am very excited to be pouring my dedication and enthusiasm for student learning and achievement, into my children's own school. I have just returned from teaching in the ACT in a specialist role as a Gifted and Talented classroom teacher for the last 4 years and am looking forward to utilising my experience as a leader and teacher in our community.

I enjoy reading, camping and participating in competitive 4WD competitions with my husband and family on weekends and during the school holidays. We live in Bungendore and enjoy being a part of a wonderful community.

As a member of BCS, I am a passionate educator who cares deeply about the wellbeing of my school and students. I look forward to exploring a quality curriculum of learning and celebrating our learning achievements with you all!

Library

Mrs Mary Langdon

I am the K-12 Teacher librarian at BCS.  This is my seventh year in this role, so I know many of you already. I moved to Braidwood from Melbourne in 2002 (for 12 months!) but I am still here enjoying the ‘tree change’.

I have had a long, varied and interesting career teaching in city, suburban, outer suburban and country schools. I have taught in Melbourne, Canberra and here in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. I love reading (of course!), travel, theatre, film, cooking, swimming and bushwalking. You may have glimpsed me being walked around town by our two wheaten terriers too.

The library is open at lunchtimes for K-12.  Students can read, borrow, draw, construct, write, play board games and use computers. It is a cool place to hang out.
