Churchlands Primary School Newsletter

Volume 25 - 29/04/2022

Principal's Message

We hit the ground running! The children just seem to morph effortlessly back into their routines and catch up with mates which is so nice to see.

Today marks significant changes to the COVID-19 way of life in WA and in our school. We will continue to have the health and wellbeing of students, staff and parents/carers at the forefront of what we do.

I would like to take this time to thank you all again for your ongoing support, generous words, very kind gestures and for your positive and resilient approach to the copious amount of changes. I am sure there will be more changes but am confident that we will continue to take up any challenges in a positive way.

Enrolments for Kindergarten and Pre-Primary are now open! Information for enrolling in Kindy and PP 2023 has gone out on Skoolbag. You can also access detailed information on our webpage.  We know there are new parents in our community who are unsure of the Kindy enrolment process.  We would appreciate it if any of our parents know such families, to pass on the enrolment information. More information can be found on the Department of Education's website. We have had a lot happening around the school over the break! New tiling in the junior toilet block, paving in the ECE area, new mulch and river sand in the creative play space, dangerous trees assessed and lopped and best of all, the new Adventure play space begun! It is progressing extremely well and the children are super excited, especially seeing the diggers in action, this seems to be top of the excitement list at the moment. We will keep you posted as we go. We will have an official opening with the P & C once completed.

As Semester 1 reports are sent out via email it is important that we have correct email addresses. Please let us know if you would like to add another person to receive a copy of the report. Contact the administration team to update your contact details if required as soon as possible.
