PICS OF THE WEEK

Photo Gallery - Please swipe to view all pictures

This week, in A3, we were presented with a STEM problem about the story Jack and the Beanstalk: The giant returned and wanted his magic hen back. Jack told the giant that he could keep his magic hen if he would agree to sell the golden eggs and split the money. The giant thought about it for a minute, then asked, “How would I deliver the eggs to you from my castle in the sky?” Jack knew that they had to solve the problem. Can you make an egg delivery container that will help the golden eggs travel safely from the giant’s castle down to Jack’s cottage? We worked in groups of 4 to design an egg delivery container, then dropped them from the bridge in our playground to see if the egg made it safely to the ground.
