The Easter Hat Parade will be held on Thursday 6th April at 2:30pm. At 10:30am the school will conduct an ANZAC Day Service. Parents, carers and extended family are more than welcome to attend both events.
Easter Raffle
Easter Raffle tickets are ready to sell. The Raffle will be held on Thursday 6th April at the completion of the Easter Hat Parade. Money raised will go towards our stage 3 Canberra Excursion.
Stage 3 students: please don’t stop at one raffle ticket book. Come and collect more raffle books because the more tickets that are sold, the more the Canberra Excursion cost will be reduced.
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)
The school is pleased to advise that the tender process for an out of school hour care (OSHC) service for our school is in its final stages.
The Department is working towards a service commencement date in early Term 2 2023, pending service approval. The school will provide confirmation of this once the successful tenderer has applied for service approval with the regulator.
Further updates will be provided in the coming weeks once more information becomes available. In the meantime, you may wish to contact the Department directly at BASCreform@det.nsw.edu.au
High School Enrolment 2024 (Year 6 Families)
In NSW Government schools, moving from primary school to high school is called the 'Year 6 to Year 7 transition' or simply 'high school transition'.
If you would like your child to attend a government high school in 2024, you will need to complete an expression of interest for Year 6 to 7 transition. Alternatively, please complete the EOI by clicking on 'advise placement not required' if your child will not require a placement in a government high school next year. The expression of interest lets you indicate which school(s) you would like your child to attend in Year 7. After you submit this expression of interest and it has been assessed, your child will be offered a place at a government high school.
The online expression of interest process makes it easier and faster to see your child’s options for high school and nominate your preferences for next year.
Please note: The last day for submission is Friday 31st March 2023.
To complete your child's 2024 high school expression of interest, please click on the link below:

Alternatively, you can access the EOI by entering the school's website, clicking on ENROLMENT at the top of the page and scrolling down and clicking on the MOVING TO HIGH SCHOOL link.
If you have any questions regarding the EOI online process, or would prefer a physical copy of the EOI booklet, please don't hesitate to contact the school on 42 360173.

Minnamurra Lions Club
The P&C has been donated $1000 by the amazing crew at Minnamurra Lions Club for 2023. These funds have very generously been given to support Jamberoo students access all aspects of the curriculum. This may include, supporting families financially to assist students being able to attend excursions or camps and backing students to access educational resources to support their learning.
The school and the P&C very much appreciate the kind donation of the Minnamurra Lions Club. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school or the P&C this year if you believe your child/children will benefit from the funds.
Regards,
Mr Chris Speirs
Principal
