On Tuesday of 6th September, Aliyah Santiago (3M) and Larson Joughin (5F) represented Wyong Public School in the Regional Spelling Bee. It was a little different this year being held via zoom to keep a covid safe environment. However, it provided an opportunity for both Aliyah and Larson to compete against not only the local schools in our area, but schools from the Sydney, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Port Stephens areas. They did our school proud, making it through to Round 4 & 5, spelling difficult words that had the teachers and parents thinking how they would spell it! Congratulations to you both on such a wonderful achievement! 

Wow! Well done boys and girls on your amazing costumes. Such a fun morning celebrating your favourite books and characters. Thank you to the families who came along to watch the parade. It was so lovely to have our community back in the school.
